Welcome to the first online Hern Ennorath get together for 2005!
It will be great to meet again if you haven’t joined us since 2024, and also if you attended Ozmoot 2025 in Melbourne just a few weeks ago, or online!
Welcome if you are new to our monthly meetings – we hope you can make it.

To kick off the year we have decided to spend our time wandering through these topics:
• What is Hern Ennorath?
• Welcoming new members, and spending some time getting to know each other. What have you been doing in the last couple of months – anything interesting or inspiring in your Middle-earth adventures lately? Or busy with something else?
• Reviewing Ozmoot 2025! A chance to discuss your feedback: what worked well or not so well, what ideas do you have to make it even better at Ozmoot 2026?
• Some news about Ozmoot 2026 in Canberra already – the organising committee has been busy organising!
• Some news about Ozmoot 2027 in New Zealand – so us hobbits from Down Under can start saving pennies to hop in a waka and visit our distant relatives across The Water!
• Discussion of your ideas for the monthly online get togethers: do you want to present something, do you have a fun idea for an online activity, any good ideas for doing things differently or are we happy with things as they are.
• Learn about local activities of our Fellowships in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and …. wherever a few of us have managed to get together. Have you had some fun activities that might be suitable for others? How can we help?
• Learn about the Discord group – how to join, what do they get up to?
• Learn about the LOTRO group – what is Lord of the Rings Online – how to join up with other Hern Ennorath members as they wander through virtual Middle-earth.
• Learn about our social media presences or advertising activities. Where is Hern Ennorath promoted and are there other feasible ideas.
• Any more Hern Ennorath T-shirt orders?
• Discuss how to make our growing group (smial) sustainable. Problems with making it more “official”. Also, we have a couple of annual bills (website, domain, Zoom) and a small contribution will spread this cost.
• A bit of planning for our March meeting, and others to come.
